Peaks and views of the Beskydy

You are standing in the first zone of Beskydy PLA. This zone is subject to strict protection in order to leave forest growth to grow naturally and maintain a suitable habitat for the local population of animals. In spring, summer and autumn, you can admire Wallachian meadows with typical Wallachian meadow flowers. In the past, meadows and pastureland were the most common type of non-forest vegetation. Today many kinds of pastureland are endangered and protected. These include blue gentiana, the Frog Orchid and other rare orchids. Scattered juniper bushes also play their part in forming this unique landscape.
