Hajdovy paseky

You are standing in the village of Zděchov in the place known as Hajdovy paseky. The first records of the village date to 1623. The coat of arms of the village contains a juniper tree, the village’s meadow of juniper trees being protected. Hajdovy paseky is the name for the unique set of folk buildings in a preserved, traditional location which was declared a village reservation area in 2004. The oldest wooden building was built in the first half of the 19th century. There are large numbers of Broad-leaved Helleborine orchids in the area. The 2 lime trees by the Church of the Transfiguration are worth mentioning, whose trunk circumferences measure over 5 metres.
