Horní Lomná
You are standing in Horní Lomná, which formed one village with Dolní
Lomná until 1899. Most villagers were herdsmen who had herds of cows and
sheep. A number of things make this place unique. Worthy of note are the
Jalovcové pasínky, subalpine grassy meadows with scattered juniper bushes and
a spring with supposedly miraculous water the subject of legend. According to
the legend, the water has healing properties and can cure cholera. The spring
never dries up or freezes.
