Suchá Rudná – gold mine
From a historical perspective, the Andělská hora ore mining region is one of the oldest preserved pieces of evidence for mining activities in North Moravia and includes the remains of gold mining in particular. The history of mining on this land can be demonstrated to reach back to approx. 1 500 BC. This mining area has an area of approx 30 km 2. Mining was particularly centred around the village of Suchá Rudná.
