Forest recultivation of the pit
If the areas affected by the mining were temporarily removed from the fund of land intended for the fulfillment of the functions of the forest and according to the Plan of rehabilitation and recultivation should be re-managed in forestry, the forest recultivation will be followed by the technical measures. Plantations of undemanding rapidly growing pioneer trees were planted in the middle of the 1950s. The planting was carried out in several stages, resulting in forest recultivation with a variety of species, corresponding to the altitude, geographical location and natural conditions of the area.
