Mine Frenštát
Frenštát Mine is idle coal mine in J town below the hill Kozinec, put into preservation mode in r. 1991. It is part of the mining complex spol. OKD called Race Paskov, which includes active coal mines Staříč, Chlebovice and its own enclosed Paskov mine. Mine field in the Frenštát covers a total area of about 63 km² and is divided into two mine fields, and Frenštát-west area of 34 km² and Frenštát-east area of 29 km². Estimated reserves of coal are moving at approximately 1.6 billion tonnes of coal. Mining site includes cadastral municipalities and cities Frenštát p. Radhoštěm, Trojanovice, Kunčice p. Ondřejníkem Celadna, Kozlovice, Rožnov p. Radhoštěm, Bordovice, Veřovice Lhotka and in the districts of Novy Jicin Frydek Mistek and Vsetin.
