Hamry Valley (Hamerské údolí)
Karl Ascherl from New Brunst owned glass grinderies producing mirrors in Hamry Valley to the north of Javorná and in Javorná itself in the second half of 19th century. One of the grinderies was rebuilt into a factory producing glasses in 1890. From 1907 to 1923/1924 it was run by Stefan Scheidig & syn Company from Fürth. It was later moved to Kašperk Mountains.
