Beautiful and wild, mysterious and harsh. Such is the landscape and countryside surrounding Vrbno. The climate is cool and wet. Vrbno is surrounded by mountains. Many rare animals and plants, meadows in bloom and deep woods can be found here. The most well-preserved parts of the countryside are protected in nature reserves. Most territory of the Vrbno region can boast of being located within the Jeseníky Protected Landscape Area.
