Nature reserves and monuments
Rabštejn
You are standing by the Rabštejn Nature Reserve. It spreads over an area of 20.8 hectares in the elevation of 620 – 803 m above sea level. The territory is a significant example of a preserved forest of lower mountain locations with almost natural structure of timber species. In the undergrowth, we can discover many precious plants. The Common Raven nests in the reserve, while the Eurasian Eagle-owl and the Black Stork nest in its close surroundings.
The Rabštejn Castle
By the Rabštejn peak, you can notice ruins of a medieval castle of the same name dating from the turn of the 13th and 14th centuries.
