Water in geopark
Bozi voda (God's water)
Spring that rises in the forest Fararstvi about 200 meters east of Metelka’s orchards. The stone construction were built in year 1868 to catch the water. It is still a popular source of tasty source of drinking water.
The municipal council of Turnov strated to try the growing problems with the supply of drinking water at 70’s of 19th century. Forest Fararstvi was offered through underground sources of possible solutions. It was supported by the proximity of the newly constructed barracks 94th Infantry Regiment. New water and sewerage network was completed in October 1923 by prague company Ing. Bellada.
