Points of interest

This memorable tree creates a nature complement to the monument of Eduard Schon Engelsberg, the native of Andělská Hora. It was planted most probably in 1881 when the monument was revealed. It cannot be ruled out that its age is a bit older and that it had been a small tree once the monument was revealed. We can say that it has been at least 131 years old by 2012. Eduard Schon Engelsberg was an Austrian composer, poet and a council minister who was born in Andělská Hora in the year 1825, studied at the Faculty of Philosophy in Olomouc University and later in Vienna University. He died in Jeseník nad Odrou in 1879.
