Points of interest

The memorable lime is growing at a pillar sandstone statue of Virgin Mary from Hostýn below White Mountain at Štramberk in the saddle between the White Mountain (557 m above sea level). The statue comes from the year 1861. It used to provide shade to peasants working at the surrounding fields in the past. It is a place of rest and beautiful views nowadays. There is a wonderful view of the town Kopřivnice, Raška´s stone and Šostýn castle to the south-east and of the town Štramberk with its castle and tower called Trúba to the west.
