Reinforced Concrete Road Bridge in Pořešín

On the way from the Kaplice railway station to Besednice, there is a reinforced concrete bridge across the Malše River near the village of Pořešín, which was erected in 1914 and withheld even the high water in 2002 without any serious damage. A dominant feature of the structure is two vaulted arches which optically merge both banks of the Malše River. Although the bridge looks dilapidated at first sight, its technical condition is relatively good.
