A New Platoon of the Border Guard
Due to unsatisfactory conditions of the gradually dilapidating Debrník Castle, a new campus was built for the 3rd platoon of the 7th brigade of the Border Guard in the seventies. Similar buildings can be also seen in other parts of the Bohemian Forest (e.g. České Žleby, Borová Lada, Žďárek, etc.). In addition to the main accommodation building, there was also a car fleet, dog pens, sportsground, etc. In the Železná Ruda region, three other platoons of the Border Guard could be found: Polom, Svaroh and Černé jezero (Devil´s Lake).
