Flooded Peatbog
If you go across the wooden footbridge you will get to the flooded peatbogs. The nature evolution here was quite atypical. As the soil is waterlogged to a high degree, only the hydrophilic plants, such as moss or wild reed, could survive here. The waterlogged soils are poor in oxygen; hence the decomposition process of the plant residues is very slow. This is the reason why the peatbogs were formed. The rotten and waterlogged birches are also noteworthy.
