Křemže

The small town of Křemže is situated in the valley between the Blanský Forest and Haberské Mountain Range at the foot of the Kleť Mountain in the district of Český Krumlov. The first written reference to the village is from 1351. Křemže is interesting not only for its history and well-preserved monuments, but also its beautiful nature around. The most important monuments include the Archangel St. Michael’s Church with an original sacristy designed in the Romanesque Style. The village and its colonies lie in the Blanský Forest protected landscape area and are surrounded by nature reserves.
