Cycle Route - Radomilice

The 26.5 km long cycle route No. 1080 from Vodňany to Hluboká nad Vltavou leads through a number of minor villages, being so typical for the south of Bohemia. The first stop, 7 km far from Vodňany, is in the Radomilická Fenland nature reserve near the village of Radomilice. This reserve includes the Radomilický stream alluvial plain with a minor pond. The subject of protection here is the wetland stands with an abundant occurrence of special protected species of plants and animals. It goes on through the town of Dívčice, Mydlovary and Zahájí up to the Hluboká nad Vltavou Chateau, frequently sought after by the tourists. The stops at the Blatec and Jezero ponds, both of them located in the vicinity of the cycle route, are also worth seeing.
