Strpský and Velký Černoháj Ponds

The Strpský Pond, covering an area of 50 hectares, is located in the vicinity of the village of Strpí near Číčenice. The railway corridor from Pilsen to České Budějovice is led along its damp. On the opposite bank, there is a cycle route No. 1080 (from the town of Vodňany to Hluboká nad Vltavou), enabling an ideal access to the Strpský Pond and Velký Černoháj Pond as well as the nature monument the Černoháj Wood. The elongated water surface of the Strpský Pond as well as the entire surroundings can be seen from the nearby Kraví Mountain (1 km high).
