Blatec Pond near Čejkovice

Ten minor artificial water bodies, which are included in the system known as Zbudovská Marshland, can be found alongside the Dehtářský stream in the vicinity of the village of Čejkovice. The whole fishpond system is supplied with water from the Dehtářský Pond. The Blatec Pond (covering an area of 103.7 ha) is a notable ornithological centre. It serves as a nesting place for a large flock of the Greylag geese (Anser Anser), among others. Also a high number of collecting watercourses which are, except for the Dehtářský stream, completed with the Dubenský stream leaving the Vyšatov Pond is also distinctive for this pond.
