Peklo Ravine

The ravine called Peklo (meaning “hell”) is located in the wood not far from the village of Nevězice located nearby the well-known Celtic oppidum from the late La Tène period. The site is in the vicinity of the Probulovský stream which discharges into the Orlík water reservoir erected on the Vltava river in 1960. After construction of the Orlík water reservoir, a holiday area with chalets and a number of tourist routes was created in the areas called Luh and Peklo beneath Nevězice. One of them leads to the nature trail which takes you to the village of Orlík nad Vltavou.
