Novovrážský Pond
The Háj crossroads by the Novovrážský Pond is located near the village of Vráž, a well-known rehabilitation and spa resort. The crossroads is intersected by the tourist themed trail leading up to the Novovrážský Pond, approximately 1.5 km far from this point. The trail leads on to the Dědovické stráně (Dědovické Hillsides) and Čertova hora (Devil´s Mountain) nature reserves which rank among the most interesting nature monuments in the district of Písek. If you decide to take a walk, remember that the trail mostly leads through the wood. Formerly, there was a ferry across the Otava river nearby, but, at present, you have to use any of the bridges more than 10 km far from the crossroads.
