Židova strouha (Jude´s gutter)

The Židova strouha nature monument is located near the stream of the same name in the Táborská Pahorkatina Upland, approximately 2 km south of the town of Bechyně, between the villages of Nuzice and Hodonice. The reason for protection is a geomorphologically important ghyll with the fragments of natural relic pine woods on the rocks and the notable moss and lichen communities as well as the naturally meandering watercourse. The nature monument is accessible on the yellow tourist themed trail leading from Bechyně to Týn nad Vltavou, which crosses the stream at a few places without bridges.
