Nuzov Pond
The Nuzov Pond is located 5 km far from České Budějovice and approximately 1 km north-east of the village of Dubné. It is the outlet fish-breeding pond in the river basin of the left-hand Vltava river’s affluence. Its water body covers an area of 18 hectares. It is a typical nesting habitat for the cormorants that eat up to half a kilogram of fish every day, thereby making significant losses to the local fishermen.
