Cycle Route: Libějovice - Ovocnářská

“Ovocnářská Cycle Route” was established in 2008. It is formed by a 55 km long circle around the traditional fruit-growing villages of the Chelčice & Lhenice microregion. The route goes through the villages Chelčice, Dlouhá Ves, Truskovice, Lomec, Krtely, přes památky Netolicka (zámek Kratochvíle) do Mičovic a Lhenic and comes back to Chelčice. The regular cycling rides are held here as a part of the "Bloom Celebration” in the spring and “Fruit Celebration” in the autumn. It is a cycle route of medium difficulty, which includes both the hilly terrain around Lhenice and the plains surrounding the town of Chelčice. The historic and cultural monuments in Chelčice on the route include the memorial of Petr Chelčický, a famous Czech author and translator who was born here, or the Chateau of Libějovice founded by the Count F. Buquoy in 1696.
