Libějovický Park
The nature reserve lies in the east of the manor park on the south edge of the village of Libějovice. The reason for protection is an obsolete landscaped park with a much differentiated structure (tree categories of various ages up to 300 years old), which has not been maintained for a long time. The area of the nature reserve includes approximately 40 tree species, especially hornbeam-oak woods, lime-oak woods and natural alder groves. The Libějovický Park is also a nesting place of the endangered bird species, such as Dendrocopos medius, Ficedula parva, Muscicapa striata, Oriolus oriolus, Corvus monedula. The nature reserve is of an extraordinary importance in terms of the biodiversity protection.
