Zliv
The town of Zliv is located 10 km north-west of České Budějovice. It lies among the Zlivský Pond, Mydlovarský Pond and the Bezdrev Pond. An important railway line No. 190 (České Budějovice – Pilsen) goes through the town. The summer cinema operates in town. The only ancient monument which have preserved to the present day is the two-span stony bridge from the early 18th century across the Soudný stream, decorated with the statue of the Saint John of Nepomuk from 1724. The neo-Gothic Saint Wenceslaus Chapel is also noteworthy. Several archeologically important sites can be found in the surroundings (for example, the traces of settlements and ironwork from the Roman Era, a trust of silver denarii from around 1030).
