Terčino Valley - car park
Terčino Valley (Therese’s Valley) is one of the most beautiful spots in the Novohradské Mountains. Declared in 1992, it is a national nature monument in the Stropnice river valley. It had been, however, recognized as a nature reserve much earlier (in 1949). This monument was originally founded as a noble park for the Countess Therese and was named after her. The parking lot is about 200 m far from the front gate. After entering the park itself you may visit a few interesting places (e.g. waterfall, a spa building or the Blue House). You can learn something about the interesting history of this place even on the parking lot.
