SCI Brouskův mlýn
Brouskův mlýn (Brousek’s Mill) National Nature Reserve (NNR) is located alongside the Stropnice river in the Třeboň Basin. The territory is a part of the proposed Stropnice site of the European importance. The main subject of protection is an extensive complex of aquatic, wetland, peaty and meadow vegetation communities with the occurrence of many rare and endangered plant species. But what you will be most impressed by at first sight is a well preserved, actively meandering channel of the Stropnice river. The river alluvial plain is filled in with sediments containing the artesian water which springs on the surface here and there.
